The Daughters of Charity of St Vincent of Paul are a worldwide organisation
of nuns urged by the charity of Christ to reach out and help those most in need.
They are advocates for women and children, teachers, parish administrators, social
workers, health care providers, and care givers for the elderly.
There are now over 21,000 sisters living and working in over 2,400 communities in
over 90 countries around the globe.
The Daughter of Chairty approached Maznet with a clear objective, to re-design and
develop their existing website with a new modern look and feel. They also required
the site to be multi-language, in both French and Spanish as well as English. The
site needed to provide document storage capabilities and a log-in facility for their
members to gain access to the latest news and information pertinent to each location.
Maznet began with some modernisation of their logo and then incorporated
this into a modern look for their website. We then began the development phase by
incoporating a bespoke content management system into the site to give the Daughters
of Charity full control over the sites content. Maznet were also able to incorporate
an online crossword and jigsaw puzzle which are fully changeable, along with a document
management system and a photo management administration tool.

Creating an interesting, highly visual website in three languages with a large private
Members Section is a complex business which presented a challenge all round. Maznet
worked through the ideas and issues with us - adapting, changing and problem solving
- until a site was created which had the design and functionality we needed.
